Release Day
Thursday, September 8, 2011
Almost release day
Sept. 13th is on the horizon as is the release of Staind's seventh and self titled album. ESPN is offering a free preview before it's release. Reports speculate the future of Staind is grim if non-existent after this album and the DVD with it is to show some combustible elements of the process of the record and to them as a band. Regardless of what the future holds I thank Aaron, Mike, Johnny, and Jon for all their years of service and entertainment to the fans and will continue to support the paths all of them take. If Aaron continues his country efforts this blog will support him all the way and looks forward to more he brings to the table. With or without the talent, his heart and evolution as a man and artist is admirable and this writer appreciates all he has done and continues to do.
With all that said, the album is looking to have rave reviews. Also, it looks like Kevin Curry is the Not Again solo winner, congrats to him if this is the case.

Staind is the artist of the week this week at Aceshowbiz and will be for HardRockRadio next week.

Seven
It's with sadness to report Jon Wysocki is no longer the drummer with Staind. Word is it was his own choice to leave and that he perhaps no longer wanted to be in the public eye. His wishes need to be respected and if you're a fan please don't press the issue about it. Staind is still an incredible band and Jon's addition to them was unmatched, but we can only wish the best for him and for Staind further in their career.
With all that said, there is some good news to report as well. Staind have titled their next album Seven, details can be read about it here.
Staind also recently played Rock on the Range, Hinder mentioned Aaron was considering another tattoo, and photos from the performance can be seen here and here. Some radio stations covered ROTR too, click here and here to check them out.

Finally, Aaron's solo work is now part of R & J Records which was formally known as Stroudavarious Records out of Nashville.

Staind is also playing Miller Light Carb Day, Rocklahoma, and Rock on the Range this summer so be sure to make it if you can. Aaron will also finish up his solo tour while performing with Staind so don't miss out on those shows either. Another It Takes a Community show with Aaron and Lo-Pro is happening this August as well to benefit the Conwell Community School so donate and attend that too, you won't be disappointed.

Happy Birthday Aaron!
I just would like to wish Aaron the happiest of Birthdays this year, may he and his family be blessed with good times and good people and nothing but future success and prosperity. Thanks again for all you've done and continue to do and being the voice not only for yourself but those that don't have one. Your heart knows no bounds and for that we are grateful. Thank you to Aaron Lewis the man, not the brand or otherwise.

Incredible show in Phoenix
Once again Aaron didn't disappoint in Phoenix last night and he and Ben tore the house down and made everyone laugh so hard, the only downfall are the occasional drunk a**holes at these shows. They poked fun at each other throughout in good humor and was great with crowd interaction despite the drunk and obnoxious as mentioned before. No time to really chat but hopefully someday, I'll have the opportunity. Aside from the the incredible show last night Aaron put on to help benefit suicide prevention he was mentioned in other news before this show too.
Aaron is playing a free show open to the public at Fort Riley April 30th, check out the flyer for details.
Mike has been busy tracking riffs for the record and Aaron has been writing, definitely will be a treat when it finally comes out.
