Laying down vocals and new Q & A
Aaron began vocals for the new Staind record tonight! Get excited!!
In addition to that, check out this quick Q & A with him and stay tuned for an interview video with him on HardDrive Radio(Mar 9). Here's a recap from when he was there.....
Aaron Lewis was great yesterday in the hardDrive studios! He brought his guitar and we did an acoustic performance of his single "Country Boy." Wait for new interview video on the site with Aaron in the video room soon! He has a new hunting TV series he is gonna be working on later this year (when it's turkey hunting season) called "Hunting with Heroes" and he is also working on the new Staind album, due maybe late summer. He even admitted to being the reason for the "sissification on Staind" (his words) to a mellower side (Ex: "It's Been A While", "Outside", "So Far Away" etc) , but will make up for all that with this new record. Looking forward to seeing them at Rock on the Range. Although I haven't seen the country charts today, I hear his "Town Line" ep, released Mar 1, may have debuted Number One. Congrats to Aaron on realizing his dream. Like it or hate it, he ain't a redneck, he's a "hillbilly!" I asked if country radio gave him a hard time with the lyric "smoke some weed" in the "Country Boy" song, which they did. But he said look at Willie Nelson! And I said, "Dude, Willie couldn't hang with YOU!"
